Adding Blue & White To My Plate Rack

Hi friends

I love plate racks!!

Today I am sharing how I dressed up this antique plate rack using blue and white plates.

I purchased this plate rack from a local antique dealer and placed it between two walls in my kitchen area.

Blue and White is my all time favorite color combination.  I feel it adds freshness to a room and gives it a clean look.

I added four plates and two platters that we use for everyday meals.

I feel if you have your nice plates on display you would use them more than if they were hidden in your cabinets.  

I purchased the BON APPETIT sign at a consignment store and hung it above.

 added hooks to hang kitchen towels. 

Now I can take plates when needed and after washing put back to air dry.

So pretty and functional!
